The Adam Dunvegan Nursery rated this variety as one of the most vigorous in its genus. A strong grower with glossy, rugose leaves. It has great bronze fall and winter color. White flowers last for 6 to 8 weeks, an excellent clump former. 
Brandywine shoots some short runners in spring and fall.
‘Brandywine’ grows in part sun to shade.
